Wonderfulness

Hello world! Several awesome things have happened/are happening:

* My new laptop came and its super pretty--pictures soon to come.

* My professional graduation pictures came in, and I look smokin'! (and no, Bob Knight didn't take tons of my hard earned mola, I went to Walmart where the pictures are cheap as hell and still look awesome!)

* This week is really slow for me, so I have down time to organize, relax, and catch up on my DVRed shows, and.....

I am getting laser hair removal!!!!!!! I have wanted it since I first knew what it was, but I always figured it was out of my reach. Since I'm pretty slow right now, I decided to just go for a free consultation and find out what it costs. Now it is a bit pricey, but they have CareCredit (so does my dentist). CareCredit is an awesome program that will pay your bills for you and will give you 18 months interest free to pay them back. So it makes the whole thing reasonable. Because I'm a dumbass and shaved right before I went (I apparently wasn't thinking), they can't tell if they'll be able to do my legs (the laser doesn't work on blonde, white or gray hair and my leg hair is kinda blonde), but they can do my girlie parts and my pits! Woo Hoo!! I am so excited!! I go for my first treatment on Friday, and I will have a total of 9 treatments 10 weeks apart. Now I looked thru a calendar and figured out that I won't be finished until Jan 2010, which sucks, BUT I will see results instantly. The lady who consulted me said she just got her first treatment on her pits and hasn't shaved in 7 days and still doesn't need to... SWEET! OMG! I'm just so excited, especially for my girlie parts--it sucks shaving there! So there will be posts to come about how it feels and the results. Yay!

Fun thing to do:
On Friday night UCF is having this "Movies on the Plaza" thing, where they will be showing Horton Hears a Who for FREE. Now I LOVE free, and I haven't seen and want to see the movie, so Derek and I will be in attendance. I have copied and pasted the infor I got from the email below:

Movies on the Plaza- June 6th

University of Central Florida kicks off its first FREE "Movies on the Plaza" on Friday, June 6 with a screening of "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!" at Knights Plaza outside UCF Arena. Parking is free and the event starts at 7:30 p.m. with showtime scheduled for 9 p.m.

Comfy seating is provided including padded chairs and sofas, and the movie will be screened on a 26-foot screen with surround sound. Show up early and enjoy a live DJ, interactive entertainment, prize giveaways and more. Food will be available for purchase from Knights Plaza eateries or bring a picnic of your own.
