According to my new issue of Cosmo, this (the title) is how long into a relationship most men pop the question. Upon reading this I jokingly informed Derek that I am expecting big things in 26 days (July 14th), when we reach this point. I then read him this factoid, and I could almost hear his inner dialogue (invision a thought bubble here...) "Are you kidding me? Is there a way I can cancel her subscription to this crap without her knowing it? ...Shit! Never mind. Thats where she learns all those hot moves she brings home. .....Hey, I know! I'm the one who checks the mail. Perhaps I can go through it first and rip out any pages with crap like that... yes! That will totally work."
Sorry I figured you out Derek. I guess 3 Years, 5 months and 26 Days with you was the magic amount of time it took me to be able to read your mind, at least partially.
Here is where I'm curious. Where the hell did they come up with this factoid? I mean if it simply said 3 and a half years, or 3 years and 6 months, I would be going for it, but to add the 20 days? Where are the hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds? Does this mean that they gave people a stopwatch when they got together and asked them to press the stop button the moment the question was popped? Well, all I know is that in 26 days, in all likelihood, no one will be getting frantic and ecstatic phone calls, so don't free up time or anything. It'll happen eventually, but I'm thinking in more than 26 days.
